American Chemical Society Web Editions (ACS Web Editions) Provides online full-text access to all ACS journal and magazine publications, with coverage from 1996 to the present.  Started in August 1991, is a highly-automated electronic archive and distribution server for research articles. Covered areas include physics, mathematics, computer science, nonlinear sciences, quantitative biology, and statistics. arXiv is maintained and operated by the Cornell University Library, with guidance from the arXiv Scientific Advisory Board and the arXiv Sustainability Advisory Group, and with the help of numerous subject moderators.

Astrophysics Data System (ADS) A Digital Library portal for researchers in Astronomy and Physics, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) under a NASA grant. The ADS maintains three bibliographic databases containing more than 10.4 million records: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics, and arXiv e-prints.

IOPscience This is an online journal platform for content published by the Institute of Physics. It includes access to research in physics, astronomy, engineering, chemistry, mathematics, medical physics, and environmental sciences.

Physics Commons™ Resource from The Digital Commons Network that provides free access to full-text scholarly articles and other research from hundreds of universities and colleges worldwide. Curated by university librarians and their supporting institutions, this dynamic research tool includes peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, dissertations, working papers, conference proceedings, and other original scholarly work.

Science & Technology Collection (EBSCO) Provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,700 publications, including over 800 full-text journals, covering astrophysics, biology, chemistry, computer technology, geology, physics, archaeology, and materials science.

ScienceDirect One of the world’s leading sources for scientific, technical, and medical full-text research. It indexes more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and over 11,000 books. Abstracts are provided for articles not included in our institutional subscription. ScienceDirect also indexes many publications that Steen Library carries in print.
