Collection Historical Note

The Vice President Office of Academic Affairs, formally known as Dean of the College, is responsible for carrying out the academic mission of the University.  Academic Affairs works with faculty to advance teaching, research, and service that helps perpare graduates for future success. 

The Office also helps to provide leadership for academic initiatives, supports College and other units within Academic Affairs, provided resources, and is responsible for assessing the progress of achieving the academic goals of the University.
