Most of the collection consists of photocopies.

Collection Historical Note

Formed as a literary club in 1935, the Alto Thursday Study Club incorporated in 1971 with the object of being an educational, historical and literary corporation. Membership is limited to 16 women. In this collection are papers presented at meetings which are usually on local historical subjects or local people and families. Also included are some genealogical studies.
