Research and Instructional Services (RIS) provides support to the faculty, staff, and students of SFASU, as well as the general public by offering specialized RIS Services and Resources. The Research staff is happy to assist any user in their information quest, whether in the classroom setting or with a one-on-one consultation.

The Research and Instructional Services Department (RIS) is committed to supporting the research, teaching, and informational needs of Stephen F. Austin State University and to the public at large with creative and effective programs. Through the personal attention of library faculty, we engage the academic community in a collaborative, learner-centered environment focused on developing information literacy skills essential for life-long learning.
